A Little About Inversion Therapy
February 20th, 2010 by admin
There is a controversial type of back pain relief that is used by people with back pain. Inversion therapy is when you are suspended upside down to relieve gravitational pressure off the discs of the spine for temporary back pain relief. This procedure also stretches the spine, which adds to relieving back pain. The discs are subject to moisture renewal when the body is suspended upside down and with the spine being stretched, could also help the discs return to their normal shape. This process is then supposed to relieve pressure off nerve roots, therefore reducing back pain. When using this form of pain relief, it is important to always be cautious and always put safety first.
