At my job, I come across many senior citizens who are concerned about living alone. Although many of them are relatively healthy and active, they still worry about what would happen if they were to fall or become ill while alone. My co-worker frequently discusses the option of a home medical emergency alert system to restore peace of mind to the seniors. In addition, this system can give them back their independence. Many older adults are apprehensive about giving up their homes, so when they know that they can remain in their homes indefinitely, they soon begin to look forward to an increasingly brighter future.
