    Pain in the cuboid

    May 18th, 2010 by admin

Your cuboid bone belongs to the smaller sized bones in the body yet performs a huge role within the function with the foot and feet dysfunction. This bone is on the outside of the foot, merely anterior to the ankle joint. A muscle on the exterior from the leg, features a tendon which moves straight down the outside with the ankle joint and that muscle passes beneath the actual cuboid bone on the outside with the foot to move to the other side with the foot. When it is not really stable, the actual cuboid bone can shift when the muscle tissue contracts. This particular movement can become symptomatic, resulting a diagnosis is recognized as cuboid syndrome.
