A 17 year-old boy was killed in a single-car accident on Sierra Highway, in Lancaster on Friday. He was declared dead at the scene of the accident that occurred at around 10:15pm, near Palmdale, just north of the high-desert highway’s junction with Angeles Forest Highway.
The 17 year-old female driver was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer north, when she lost control and crashed into the guardrail on the west side of the road. The identity of the driver has not been released. No further information has been reported on how this accident occurred, but no one else was reported to be involved. An investigation is taking place to determine the cause of this fatal crash.
