Dad and I Fishing on Vancouver Island

I always looked up to my dad, he was the kind of guy who just left people feeling better about themselves when they talked to him.One of my fondest memories of time I spent with dad when I was a kid was when he took me salmon fishing on Vancouver Island. It wasn’t so much the amount (and size! Oh Lordy the size of these fish) that I recall, but it was the time spent with dad, talking to me as though I was an adult (I was eleven at the time, I think), listening to me, and just generally feeling like we were just two buddies, hanging out.
