The winter crowd will start rolling in

I don’t think it is going to be too long until all the people start arriving in taupo for the winter season and getting themselves set to be able to get to the mountain. I am new to the area myself and I hadn’t thought that this would be such a popular base for the ski season but I guess it is close enough that people can drive to the mountain and back quite easily in a day. I’m sure the people that actually work on the ski fields will be based closer but a lot of people who want to work and just get up the mountain a couple of times each week set up here.
